Meal Packing Event
Sunday, Feb. 23 | 7-9 pm | 5th Floor Kraft Center (606 W. 115th St)

Hundreds of nutritious breakfasts will be packed and made available to those in need. Come help us pack meals!


Volunteer Appreciation
Monday, Feb. 24 | 7-8 pm | Lerner 477

We could not have run this pantry without our volunteers. All past, current, and prospective volunteers are welcome! We would like to celebrate you with good music, food and drinks from Shake Shack, and great company. You may also sign up to be a volunteer at the event.


Tuesday, Feb. 25 | 7-9 pm | Roone Auditorium West

Happy Fat Tuesday! We are bringing Mardi Gras from New Orleans to Columbia. Come help us celebrate in your favorite Mardi Gras costume! Everyone will get a set of beads and a mask and the best costume will win a prize. We will have traditional cajun food from Sylvia's and two donated King Cakes. 


Non-perishable Food Drive

Drop off non-perishable food donations at The Writing Center throughout the day!


Grand Opening of the Bard Hall Location
Thursday, Feb. 27 | 3 pm | 1st floor of Bard Hall (50 Haven Ave)

Join us to celebrate the grand opening of our 3rd pantry location on campus! Each of The Food Pantry's three locations is accessible to every student at any of the 20 schools within Columbia. If you are not able to make it in person to check out the new pantry space, watch a live stream on our Facebook page. A video walking guide will be posted on our website. The pantry will begin holding open hours starting next month. Follow us to stay up-to-date!


Faculty-Centric Silent Auction
Friday, Feb. 28

We will be holding a Silent Auction just for our faculty to bid on items with proceeds going to The Food Pantry at Columbia!


Barnard Day - Athena Film Festival Activism Booth
Saturday, Feb. 29 | 11-5 pm
Sunday, Mar. 1 | 11-4 pm

In honor and recognition of the partnership between The Food Pantry at Columbia, Barnard, and Chartwells, we are pleased to announce that The Food Pantry at Columbia has a table/booth at this year's Athena Film Festival Activism Weekend. We would like to thank SGA for helping bring this event to fruition.
